Sporting Events

The Hildebrand Equine Complex houses facilities for both the Texas A&M Equestrian team and the Texas A&M Cross Country team. My role as a student intern here has involved managing these sporting events. These events vary greatly from others hosted at the complex and thus require many different responsibilities. Some of the tasks associated with these events include:

Management of facility concession stand
Crowd control
- Increased signage
- Use of barriers/gates
Increased parking management
- Traffic control
Increased risk management
- Proper personnel on-site
Increased waste management
Complete facility management
- Increased enforcement of facility rules
  - No pets
  - No outside food or drink
- Constant observation of patrons and participants
